Communikey Festival 2011

...well, it's about that time again in Colorado.  Sun shines, snow melts, lush greenery once again overtakes Winter's ghostly pallor and claims this land as its own.  And what's that, amidst the birds amorously chirping in the blossoming trees?  That faintly approaching din of clapping hands, jubilant cheers, and sub-bass rumbles can only mean one thing: the Communikey Festival is at hand.  The fourth annual installment of the festival finds another top-notch lineup descending upon idyllic Boulder, CO for 5 days of mirth, education, community building, and yeah, plenty of dancing.

Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I should let you faithful readers know that this is hardly an impartial review.  Believe it or not, sporadically updating this dusty li'l corner of the interwebs is not a full-time job, and when I'm not crafting the exquisitely entertaining posts you've come to know and love, I have the distinct honor and pleasure of joining a positively beautiful creative community in helping organize this music festival.  So, with that in mind, allow me to wholeheartedly recommend what promises to be a life-affirming celebration of movement, thought, art, culture, and of course, music...

Here's where I started an attempt at running through the program, but that turns out to be a rabbithole too deep to explore if I ever hope to get this post finished.  Please do peruse the program guide, though - therein you will find all sorts of opportunities for entertainment, education, life, laughter, and love.
